Shai Larsen, AMFT

I’m so glad you’re here. Many of the people drawn to working with me are deeply sensitive humans who have spent years adapting, overgiving, overthinking, staying strong for others, or losing themselves in relationships, anxiety, grief, trauma, or the pressure to hold it all together. Somewhere along the way, they lost connection with their own needs, voice, joy, instincts, or aliveness. I believe therapy can be a space to gently return to yourself. A space where all parts of your messy, beautiful human experience are welcome, and where you can begin reconnecting with the wisdom, authenticity, freedom and vitality already within you.

I work with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional sensitivity, relationship challenges, grief, spirituality, life transitions, addiction and self-worth. My approach is warm, relational, depth-oriented, and trauma-informed, drawing from IFS, somatic awareness, attachment theory, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy.

I believe healing happens when we feel deeply seen, emotionally safe, and genuinely understood. My hope is that our work together helps you strengthen your relationship with yourself, create more meaningful and connected relationships with others, and build a life that feels more honest, nourishing, and fully your own.
